Regal Homes were approached by the homeowners of number 5 Paddington Grove. They had previously tried to gain planning permission for a bungalow in their unused back garden.
Unfortunately, their application had been rejected by the Council, and they were in need of guidance and support.
On reviewing their application, Regal Homes believed that with just a few minor tweaks to their application, they could gain a more positive outcome.
This was in fact successful, and as a result, Planning permission was granted for an additional Bungalow in August 2016.
Regal continued their tenacious approach, drawing on the teams experience and insight. It was agreed by everyone, that the site should be maximised. If they were to approach the adjacent neighbours, and get them onboard too.
This strategy was to obtain a more robust and comprehensive scheme, which the council had to take seriously.
As an outcome, successful planning was approved and granted for a larger scheme consisting of two further bungalows. Which have since been sold.
