My partner Jim and I had been looking for several months for our dream home, and despite being unsure on a new build, we went and had look from the outside, and thought the location was good, and Regal homes reviews were excellent.

Once we met Dave from Regal, he was very knowledgeable, accommodating, and personable to work with. Despite the home just being a few walls, we were really sold on the concept that Regal Homes were trying to create, and were shown a fantastic house build by Regal, so we had a good idea of the high specification, that we put an offer in there and then on the spot!

From there on, we had opportunity to see the house go up brick by brick, with regular communication, with Regal via WhatsApp and site visits, which I have documented on a designated house Instagram account, it was really interesting to see the house develop over the 6 months.

Consequently, Regal received a lot of messages on WhatsApp daily which were all responded to, Craig did a great job of replying even on weekends, even at the pub (dedication right there!) and really appreciated his expertise, honesty, and knowledge.

We also had opportunity to speak to the lead builder Matt directly, who also gave us some ideas, and went for his carpet choice, Thanks Matt! As we were both keen on being involved with the project, Regal supported us making the home bespoke to both our tastes and additional features, we could utilise the trade in place, which was a huge advantage as we did not have to source additional trade at a later date.

We also really enjoyed talking to both Colin and Debra who are the directors and founders of the concept of the window and learning about the history of the site.

Debra also was really helpful to give us advice on flooring and tiling, and personally dropped round samples to our house at the time and met up with us for coffee to understand and discuss our visions.

There is a culture of true passion, dedication, and hard work from the Regal team collectively to deliver the highest of quality homes, which is really a unique part of working with a small developer, as opposed to a bigger development.

Now that we are in, we are just enjoying every inch of the house and getting a lot of ‘ooos and ahhhs’ from our family and friends. We have been very lucky to meet Regal, at the right time, and we would recommend Regal to anyone considering buying a new build.

Moving house is stressful but when you’re moving to a different part of the country and downsizing it’s even more of a stressful situation.

I was finding it difficult to find the house I wanted, I needed downstairs to be large enough to accommodate my lifestyle and furniture but at the same time reduce the bedrooms from five to three.

I was almost at the point of compromise when I spotted a Regal Homes house for sale. It was exactly what I wanted. I quickly arranged a visit and although the building work had just got going. I was given all the information I needed including a tour around a similar house to know this was the house for me.

I moved in 3 months ago, and it was definitely the right decision. The house is wonderful and meets my needs exactly. The specification and finish of the house is amazing both inside and out and the timing of the sale allowed me to make personal choices on fixtures and fittings.

So, a big thank you to David, Debra and all the Regal Homes team for making my move and buying off plan a very positive experience.

I purchased a house “off-plan” from Regal Homes in Aug 2020. Having viewed the house part way through the build. From the very beginning I had a good feeling about the company after meeting Dave at the house and having my offer accepted later that day.

Over the next few months, I was in regular contact with Craig about how the build was progressing who was also excellent, communicated well and always responded to messages very quickly.

During the build there were some challenges with planning permissions for the garage. These were dealt with by Regal extremely well, which included Colin & Debra inviting me to their personal home to discuss the situation at length, explaining options and ultimately give me real peace of mind that I was in good hands (the garage is now sorted).

Once I moved in, Regal were very good at responding to any snagging queries (there always some with a new build) and I also received personal visits from both Craig and Debra to check how I was settling in and whether everything is okay – what a great service!

Overall, the experience has been excellent, and my main take-out is that Regal Homes really does feel like a family run business who put their customer, product and service first.

I would absolutely recommend Regal Homes and you are un-sure about using a smaller, less well-known company, my advice is don’t be!

This is a lot harder than l thought. I have so much to say! Here we go……….

Having lived in a flat for 10 plus years, all we lacked was outside space. My criteria for a new property was 3 double bedrooms, a garden and a driveway – simple.

After 12 weeks of house hunting, viewing approximately 50 houses both old and new builds. I was about to give up the search. Then l stumbled across the Regal homes development at 10a Friars Road on the Zoopla local estate agents online site.
From the online pictures we loved the house. When the open day arrived for viewings from prospective buyers. We were pleasantly surprised by the inside layout, the interior and build quality. The property met all our requirements internally and externally.

Due to a few legal issues with the sale of our flat and this purchase our completion date was delayed. The builders asked to meet up to see if they could help speed up the completion process and see how they could assist with storing our belongings to avoid additional charges.

We were nervous having to meet the build team (Colin, Craig and Dave) prior to the purchase completion. However, we were pleasantly surprised by how friendly and professional they were. This reassured us that they cared about their customers and their development projects. It felt like we were buying a share in a family organisation as well as our property.

They called round a few weeks after we moved in to check if we settled in and if there were any new build snagging issues that needed to be rectified, along with extra support to plumb the washing machine in and providing matching doors to maintain a clean flowing Kitchen. Other companies may not have bothered. The quality personal touch from the Regal team has left us speechless. The few items spotted were rectified immediately!

That is first class customer services. I would recommend Regal homes to family and friends. Thanks guys for building a beautiful house.

I am aware you are coming to visit this week but as we approach the 1yr anniversary of moving to our new home I wanted to say a big “thank you” to Regal Homes.

In a nutshell, the experience of buying a new home from Regal Homes has been great from start to finish.

Initially, we dealt with David who supported us until we moved in on 18^th February and his help and assistance was invaluable in keeping the process moving.

It was also a lovely gesture to let us have the key for the weekend prior to our move date to enable me to move many of the boxes – the weather was hideous that weekend as there was a full blown gale but we appreciate Regal had no control over that!

We were then handed over to your good self to assist with snagging and from start to finish nothing has been too much trouble for you and this is despite the unexpected challenge of moving into a new home a few weeks before the first national lockdown!

Without exception, the tradespeople you have sent have been real professionals and lovely people. When I moved to a previous new house the guy sent to sort the snagging was a complete nightmare so the contrast couldn’t be more apparent.

You have always responded promptly to messages and kept us updated in relation to progress which is greatly appreciate. Unlike many companies you have not used the Covid pandemic as a reason to provide a lesser service.

We love our new home and the quality and attention to detail makes such a difference. When you hear stories from other people who have moved into homes built by some of the large national builders it makes us really appreciate the quality of our new home.

Our site had proved to be most difficult and beset with problems regarding planning until got together with Colin & Craig.

I soon realised that I was in the company of two very professional individuals. They asked me if I would entertain the prospect of a 12 month contract due to the complexities involved with developing the site to its full potential and initially I baulked at the idea but I need not have worried.

My prior involvement with the usual local developers had left me somewhat disillusioned but Regal do things differently and are always contactable and simply get the job done. With their commitment and dedicated approach they enabled the successful completion of our business within deadline and everything that was discussed and agreed on they accomplished.

In this modern day and age one sometimes reads of a need to be increasingly careful as to quite where and with whom one might place one’s trust when considering placing your property on the market. Previous personal experience has certainly lead to a very strong desire to seek to read between the lines in certain instances.

I would however wish to openly state of the highly professional care and consideration afforded by Craig, Colin and David from the very onset of communication and meetings through to actual completion. There was never any attempt to command the negotiation or shield any element of considerations applicable to either side, which very quickly developed a mutual trust and respect that laid the essential good foundations so very much not apparent in so many cases elsewhere.

A subsequent open and no haggle agreement was matched by a desire to reach a swift completion. I would recommend anyone to consider an approach to Regal Homes as it will immediately identify their impartial professionalism.

I would also wish to further extend my thanks for their help and honesty in achieving a very satisfactory conclusion.
